| Part Time Grant Specialist
Provide support related to grants administration, as well as general ledger functions, including audit and monthly close responsibilities. The primary focus of this position is related to the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP).
Other duties include but not limited to:
- Support grants administration through activities including, but not limited to: HPRP packet review and documentation, monthly close, monthly billings, general ledger inquiries and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper internal control through compliance with Spending Authorization Policy.
- Prepare and deliver grant related documents as required.
- Timely and accurate data entry and check processing, including manual and void checks.
- Complete audit schedules as assigned and assist with funding agency audits.
- Support year-end audit and close as required.
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with the staff and funding sources.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform duties under time pressure and produce quality results.
- Perform other assignments as required, including but not limited to, administration, reception, general ledger, funding & compliance, filing, copying, report distribution and cross-training.
Requirements:
- Six hours of accounting or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Minimum 1 year related work experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service and results orientation.
