The Family Place Presents Take the Next Step Training Camp

A Leadership Initiative Encouraging MEN to Join the Fight Against Domestic Violence

WHAT: The Family Place will host the first of four, free educational series next week that will provide men the opportunity to become involved in helping end domestic violence in the Dallas Area. In the wake of Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings’ Rally against domestic violence, The Family Place created this program so that attendees would learn how domestic violence impacts the community, how to step in when you see abuse happening, and how to become a mentor.

Why Men Abuse – From the Eyes of a Batterer
Presenters: David Almager, Batterer’s Intervention Program Director, and a program graduate
